Across all societies where religiosity has been measured, more women than men are religious. Yet, women remain curiously absent from much of public religion. Understanding of religion in the public sphere is highly skewed toward male perspectives. RELIGION UNMUTED will offer a new positive vision and practice for public religion by bringing women to the existing table of discussions around issues of ongoing importance to traditional public religion and involve men in a broader range of discussions about gender. Our first episodes will focus on the intersection of gender and religion in immigration, politics, and health. More details to come!
